Gary, IN - Imperial Crane works on a three year project with Walsh Construction to rebuild a three mile stretch of five bridges on 80/94, from Georgia Street to Clay Street. Imperial’s conveniently located Northwest Indiana office is working on the three phases of reconstruction until 2011.
Their 360-ton and 500-ton Liebherrs are placing the 108,000 pound, 60 foot tall concrete beams to widen the expressway. The safety and reliability of their equipment is why Walsh’s Assistant Project Manager, Tim Smaron, chose Imperial.
